Jaeger-LeCoultre is a Swiss brand of luxury watches, which is a product of Joint venture of two separate renowned watchmakers, The LeCoultre and The Jaeger. Both are Frenchmen with their rightful place in the watch industry.

LeCoultre was established in 1833 by Antoine – LeCoultre a Frenchman, who was a genius at mechanics. He made number of inventions that revolutionized watch making and time measurement alike. He has the sole credit of making a Millionometer, adding a pushbutton to avoid manual rewinding and many more. He made it a family business as he passed over the shares of his company to his three sons. The three followed their father’s footsteps in imaginative developments and in depth designs.

Edmond Jaeger was also a French watchmaker, who devoted his work to development of chronographs, complications and movements. To make thinnest possible watch was his ultimate obsession.

When the two watch experts joined hands, the resultant was sure kill. Jaeger-LeCoultre has developed an untarnishable role in the finery of watch making.
